What customers say?

“ Regular here. Can't get enough. Even if I think hard enough, I cannot come up with a single thing that could be improved. Stunning food - variety, taste, quality, proces! Absolutely amazing and warm staff members - my favorite part maybe...Lovely ambience especially during festive season. They grow a lot of their food. Pets are welcome and served with as much enthusiasm. Last time, they even brought out a dog bed for a friend's old dog...my heart. Even celebrated my birthday here, two nights in a row. Although food is enjoyed by everyone, plant-based or not, personally, as a vegan, I am glad because they are the only 100 percent plant-based place on the Mendocino coast. Grateful for that. ”

“ We had the Portobello Benedict and the savory crepe both flavorful and made with fresh, well-prepared ingredients. The wood-paneled space, with its scent of wood, fireplaces, and garden views, feels classic but not dated, cozy but not cluttered. A quiet main room and a relaxed pet-friendly section round out the experience. We’ll definitely come back. ”

“ The restaurant had a very nice ambiance. Even though we did not have reservations, we got a table pretty quick. We were served a complimentary small plate (do not remember the name, sliced apple with a creamy sauce)- yum and refreshing. This is a vegan restaurant and we loved everything here. The service is top notch and the food here is very homely. We ordered a lemonade, which was very refreshing. We also had the rustic bread and kalua mushrooms with coconut rice. Portion size of the mushroom bowl was huge. Would love to come back here. ”

“ I’m not sure what happened with other reviewers bit we found the service to be impeccable. We went there for my husband’s birthday and found everyone to be courteous and prompt with service. They were exceptionally friendly, brought us sample bites from the kitchen before our appetizer course even arrived. The lodge was decorated beautifully for the holidays and had an amazing selection of books and cookbooks. We enjoyed watching another guest ‘s dog take a nap by the fire. The food was delicious and it was nice not having to all for a bunch of accommodations to try and make things vegan. My only recommendation would be for them to update their drink/bar menu. It feels a bit dated and they are missing such a great opportunity to highlight their home grown plants and herbs with plant forward cocktails and mocktails that rely on homemade syrups and aromatics. I was especially hoping for a warm drink given how chilly it gets after the sun goes down in the beach. We ended up just drinking water and tea because nothing appealed to us. ”

“ Raven's was an absolutely love experience! It can be tough to find completely vegan restuarants and this place did NOT disappoint! My partner and I went for dinner and had the ravioli and the thai curry - both very delicious! Veronica made us the most delicious mocktails and was just fantastic. The atmosphere and ambience was very nice too. Such a special evening. We will definitely be back!! ”

“ We absolutely loved dining at the Ravens Restaurant! The food was exceptional. We went multiple times during our trip Mendocino to try their breakfast and dinner options. Amazing service and views as well of the Mendocino coastline. We will definitely be coming back. ”

“ Such a beautiful dining experience. Absolutely delicious food and wonderful service by Miriam. Kudos to the chef! Our group had the enchiladas, pad thai, kailua mushrooms, beet salad, carrot cake. Every dish was prepared to perfection - we could taste the love! Thank you. We look forward to our next visit! ”

“ I tried this restaurant because I stayed at the Stanford Inn hotel and I really enjoyed everything about it. First you need to understand that this is a fully plant-based restaurant and if you are looking for vegan processed food or food with a lot of fake flavors this won't be your place. However, if you are looking for healthy food, with good quality ingredients and you want to taste the original flavors with no additives of each dish then you are in the correct place! You must make reservations for breakfast and dinner (they are closed for lunch, however, they have a menu for a lunch to go) and I suggest that you make your reservations with a lot of advance because they don't take in a lot of customers at the same time and reading previous comments I can tell that for some people that is inconvenient, however, it makes a big difference on the experience because the server service is really good (you have the full attention of your server) and the food is freshly prepared by the time you order it. The restaurant has a beautiful interior and amazing views. The customer service is amazing. The staff were all attentive when it came to answering our questions and made really good suggestions. The menu has sections for larger dishes and smaller portions. For breakfast they have daily fresh juice, delicious coffee and teas and the menu has a lot of options to choose from. For dinner if you are a soup person I recommend that you always order a cup of soup, every day they have a different soup and the flavors are amazing. If you like desserts this is also a must, I loved all their desserts and my favorite one was the carrot cake, I like them because they were not too sweet and you can taste different combinations and flavors . They also have a happy hour. The bartender is really knowledgeable, she made recommendations to pair our food with wine and the combinations were tasteful, I didn't have the chance to taste their cocktails but they have a lot of variety . I love the fact that our dogs were welcome to the restaurant, they have a whole section for families with dogs and while we were there all dogs were calm and everybody was able to enjoy their meals in a great environment and the bartender and server were spoiling our dogs with delicious treats. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to have a healthy, nice experience meal. And if you have dogs...this place is a must. I can't wait for us to come back again to The Ravens. ”
